Carl Tyler
Carl Tyler works expansively with color and loves to create portraits of sports heroes and legends. He is a devoted sports fanatic who has an extensive knowledge of sports data, stats, and trivia that spans decades. Tyler has been commissioned for specific portraits of athletes; he has an innate talent for proportionality and enjoys creating poster-sized portraiture that pops off the wall. He especially loves to debate the merits of current players with any willing fan. He utilizes color choice and mark-making to render the stylistic likeness of his icons, both past and present. Tyler is particularly proud of his LeBron James portrait and remains most committed to his hometown teams representing San Francisco.
Carl Tyler has been making art since 2012.
