Gilberto Alfaro

Gilberto Alfaro is a gifted, multi-disciplinary artist whose range runs the gamut from highly detailed graphite drawings to large scale textile weavings that are electric with color. He has also developed an affinity for painting and seems to enjoy experimenting with the medium. Alfaro prefers to always be engaged in a project; it seems the ideas and inspiration are always flowing. Whether it’s drawing beautiful, detailed images of animals and people or jumping up to help straighten up the gallery or hang a show, his work ethic is tremendous. Alfaro demonstrates a dexterity in every medium he utilizes; he is a master of process and puts heart and soul into everything he does. His impeccable detail is his signature.
